Halloween is over. We can now say Christmas is next month. To all the humbugs out there, who impose silly rules like banning the “C” word until Dec. 1, we say read on and then tell us it’s still too early to get excited about Christmas.

1. The John Lewis Christmas advert has gone viral before it’s even released
The John Lewis Christmas campaign has become the most important ad in the festive calendar (and the one most likely to reduce us to tears). The 2015 ad hasn’t been released yet (it’s expected to be revealed online at 8 a.m. this Friday, Nov. 6, according to Marketing magazine) but it’s causing a stir on social media already, after a 10-second clip of the moon aired during last Sunday’s X Factor.
It hasn’t been confirmed if #OnTheMoon is actually anything to do with the John Lewis ad, with some people suggesting it’s a teaser for the Marks & Spencer festive campaign, but for one Twitter user it all comes down to one thing:
2. The Coca-Cola Christmas truck tour dates have been announced
Yes, it’s that time again. We ditch the healthy eating message we’ve been drumming into our kids all year and take them to marvel at a big truck promoting a sugar-laden fizzy drink. Because Christmas. Holidays are coming, holidays are coming, etc, etc…
Find out when the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck is coming to your area.

3. The Burberry Christmas campaign is everything
Burberry’s festive film, inspired by classic British film Billy Elliot, stars — deep breath — Sir Elton John, Julie Walters, Romeo Beckham, James Bay, George Ezra, Michelle Dockery, James Corden, Naomi Campbell and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. To make it even more awesome the soundtrack is “Cosmic Dancer” by T Rex.
4. Starbucks cups have gone red
If getting your morning coffee in a red cup instead of a brown one doesn’t get you into the festive spirit then we don’t know what will. This is actually a tradition that began in 1984, when the coffee giant launched its Christmas Blend. To make your takeaway feel even more Christmassy make it one of Starbucks’ festive offerings for 2015: Gingerbread Latte, Toffee Nut Latte, Eggnog Latte or Honey and Almond Hotel Chocolate.
5. Harvey Nichols has unveiled its festive window
Harvey Nics’ window displays always impress and their Christmas one is the best of the lot. The top-class department store has now unveiled its festive window in each of its U.K. stores and it’s a sight to behold. A million glitter flakes, 300,000 sequins and over 600 mirror balls all contributed to this year’s discotastic, Studio 54-themed display.
