Famous movie posters get a cute canine twist for a great cause (PHOTOS)

If you’re looking for a Christmas gift for the dog lover in your life, one woman has put together the ultimate doggy calendar. Featuring 7-year-old cavalier Lucy, who was born on a puppy farm, and rescue dog Annabelle, the series of pictures has a great theme: classic Hollywood movie posters.

Lisa Garner, 36, has used her beloved dogs to recreate famous images from popular films including Harry Potter, Thelma & Louise and The Wizard of Oz.

Proceeds from the calendar will be split between dog rescue centres and organisations that work tirelessly to raise awareness of puppy farming, including PupAid and C.A.R.I.A.D, Friends Of The Animals Rescue Centre and The Oldies Club, who help to rehome senior dogs.

Lucy spent six years living in terrible conditions on a puppy farm before being rescued and in less than a year her life has been completely turned around. She boasts over 27,000 followers on Facebook and even won the “Most Heroic Hound Award” at last year’s NEC National Pet Show. Lucy is “a voice for all the voiceless dogs that are still suffering” said Lisa.
