We love puppies, and watching them learn to swim is the most adorable thing ever. But these aren’t just any litter of puppies: They belong to Hulk, a very aptly named pit bull.

Hulk is the largest pit bull in the world, Daily Mail reports, weighing in just shy of a whopping 80 kilograms. And recently the new dad was around to accompany his pups as they enjoyed their first swimming lesson.
The video uploaded to YouTube features Hulk; his owner, Marlon Grennan of Dark Dynasty K9 (who trains elite protection dogs for police and celebs); and the litter of pups that may one day become protection dogs just like their dad. But for now, they’re just trying to get their bearings.
Meet Hulk’s adorable pups.
They’re getting ready for their first swim.
This cutie wants to practice his “dog-paddle” without even being in the water.
Just look at him go!
But when he does get in, he’s lapping it all up.

However, this pup is more of a natural-born swimmer.
The puppies are cute, but they don’t come cheap. According to Barcroft TV, in 2015, Grennan had a litter of pups fathered by Hulk valued at US$500,000 (just under CA$700,000).
And while Hulk may be the biggest pit bull in the world, he has a very loving touch when it comes to his offspring.
“It is part of imprinting that fearlessness in the dogs so they are ready for any situation,” Grennan told Daily Mail of the swim lessons. “Water is an element of life, and if the dog is going to be a top protection dog, they really need to be prepared for anything.”

“Whether they are going to be a protection dog or not, we still get them to swim, as it is good exercise, and they really enjoy it,” he added. “I have never met a dog that doesn’t love water. It is pretty priceless to see them swimming at such a young age.”
