The RSPCA has a new addition, and he has got to be one of the smallest, cutest little pooches they’ve ever received.

At just 6 weeks old, Arthur (who is believed to be a cross between a Chinese crested and a Chihuahua) found himself at the RSPCA. According to deputy manager of the Chobham animal shelter, Liz Wood, he was very poorly: He had a skin condition, tummy problems and was riddled with worms, but perhaps worst of all, the little pup was hypothermic.
However, after just one week at the shelter, Arthur is thriving, which is largely thanks to the love and care the staff have given him and also down to his new wardrobe — sock jumpers.

His little body was too small for a regular dog jacket, but the carers had to come up with a way to keep him warm. Someone came up with the idea to clothe him in children’s socks — and he looks so adorable. In a video uploaded to YouTube by SWNS Animals, you can see Arthur sporting his range of stylish jumpers, which include a fluffy blue sock and one with a Tweety Bird motif.
“This week he started barking for the first time and playing with toys and really acting like a proper little dog”, Wood reveals in the video. “So we’re going to keep him for another couple of weeks and just make sure he has some more treatments, and then he is going to go off to his new home”.
