2. Clumber spaniel
Honest to goodness, this dog is so squishy and adorable it’s quite possible no one could resist a snuggle. One of the most chill of all the sporting breeds, the Clumber spaniel can be, well, a bit lazy. However, if you can convince these cuddly guys to head outdoors for a little exercise, they do relish walks, swimming and even tracking (they were originally bred for hunting).
One note of importance? As laid-back as the Clumber is, their coat is a bit more high-maintenance and needs a good brushing two to three times per week. And, OK, they drool… and snore. But those things are small potatoes, because you couldn’t ask for a better cuddle buddy.
