We’re Calling It Now — This $10 Croissant Candle From Target Is Going To Go Viral on Social Media

Remember when that croissant lamp from Temu went viral a few months ago because people realized that it was an actual croissant that was dipped in resin? The thing was collecting ants, dropping crumbs, and was just so suspicious that people were buying it just to see if the rumors were true (and they were). Well, there’s a new croissant in town that deserves to go viral for all the right reasons because Target has done it right. The store’s Threshold collection has a croissant candle that looks like the real thing (but definitely isn’t) and is almost too pretty to burn.

The Almond Croissant Figural Candle from Threshold will make you do a double — no, triple! — take because it looks so realistic. It features a flaky croissant exterior with sliced almonds at the top, and when lit, the candle looks like someone is celebrating a birthday with a croissant rather than a slice of cake. It’s seriously so cute.

Although it looks like a croissant, this candle is actually unscented, meaning you can burn your other favorite holiday-scented candles without fragrances interfering — that is if you can bring yourself to burn this candle at all. It’s just so fun and whimsical, you’ll want to keep it around for a conversation starter.

Threshold Almond Figural Candle

This candle is brand new in the Threshold holiday collection, and people already love it. One Target shopper said it was “so cute” and great to use as decoration for the holidays.

If you do decide to light the wick, the croissant candle offers 16 hours of burn time so you can use it as a centerpiece for a handful of holiday season dinner parties. And it’s made from 12 ounces of paraffin wax making it the same size as a standard croissant, too.

And unlike that croissant lamp from Temu, this candle won’t attract critters or start molding from the inside out. It’s actually a candle, not the real baked good coated in wax (we promise). Pick one up for your holiday table this year and trick all your guests into thinking it’s real.
