If you haven’t tried cooking with cast iron yet, you’re seriously missing out. Not only can cast iron make your food taste better, but it’s so durable that you can use a single cast iron pan for the rest of your life (and then pass it on to the next generation). And there’s no better time to try cast iron than right now, especially if you’re a Dolly Parton fan. Parton’s collection with Lodge has hit Walmart and you can grab both of her cast iron skillets for under $30 each.

The 10.25-inch cast iron skillet from the Dolly Parton X Lodge collaboration features a portrait of Parton on the bottom with her iconic butterfly spirit animal fluttering in front of her. The pan comes preseasoned with 100 percent natural vegetable oil and can be used on gas, glass, or induction cooktops. It’s also PFOA- and PTFE-free and made right here in the U.S.

“I love the quality of this,” one Walmart shopper wrote. “I love the fact that it’s not too heavy. It’s just right. I love the way it cooks. I cooked a steak on it [and] it was delicious, cooked thoroughly throughout and evenly. I highly recommend this. I’ve always used cast iron and I really enjoy Dolly Parton’s product.”

Another person added, “Gorgeous! Such a cool idea on a product that is quality and should hold up for ages! Looks great and practical too. Keep in mind, you could hang this on the wall as Dolly art when not in use, but on the stovetop it just looks like plain Lodge cast iron. Design is in the bottom.”

You can also pick up the larger 12-inch cast iron skillet from the collaboration for just under $30. This one features a guitar and butterfly wings motif and has “Dolly” etched along the bottom of the guitar. It also comes preseasoned and is a nice size if you’re cooking for a crowd.

“This is a beautiful high-quality piece of cast iron,” one person wrote. “I love it! I got it for my daughter-in-law, she loves Dolly. Great collector’s piece.”

And someone else said, “Everything that Dolly Parton has available so far has been the best I’ve ever had or used.”

Now is absolutely the time to try cast iron cooking. With Parton’s pieces priced at under $30, you’ll only have to make a small investment that will last a lifetime (and you’ll be kicking yourself for not cooking with cast iron all these years!).
