Los Angeles-based hair stylist Laura Polko just launched a line of shampoos and conditioners at Target, and you’re going to want to add them to your haircare routine. Polko is the gifted hands behind some of Hollywood’s most iconic looks, like Kim Kardashian’s sleek blowouts, Sydney Sweeney’s romantic waves, and Gigi’s Hadid’s bouncy bob for the Met Gala. With nearly two decades of professional experience, Polko’s learned which products work, which don’t, and what is missing. That’s what led Polko to launch her own line of affordable haircare products — all items cost under $14. “Done right, everyday signatures and styling essentials don’t need to be exorbitantly expensive,” says Polko.
The line launches today exclusively in Target with four types of signature formulas of shampoos and conditioners, sold separately: Ultimate Moisture, Volume, Color Protect, and Repair. Each costs $12. Then, come February, the line will expand with a few styling essentials, including a leave-in conditioner, a color-protected hair mask, and a dry shampoo.
Polko packed them full of hair-loving ingredients such as keratin, hyaluronic acid, wheat protein, and argan oil. She also was stringent on what’s not in them: no parabens, sulfates, phthalates, paraffins, dyes, colorants, gluten, mineral oils, aluminum, formaldehyde, or propylene glycol.
The cherry on top? The bottles will look beautiful in your shower while your hair will look red carpet-ready. Win/win.
