Valentine’s Day is on its way, but if you’re anything like us, the romantic part of the holiday is the thing we’re least excited about (no offense, sweetie). Our favorite part of Valentine’s Day isn’t eating dinner in the world’s most crowded restaurant for twice the usual price — it’s picking out cute gifts and sweet treats for our friends (and ourselves) in the lead up to February 14. Aldi is selling three different Galentine’s Day candles, all of which have a different scent and are embellished with a seasonal saying. The Fresh Freesia Galentine’s Candle comes in a pink glass votive, and the label says “Friends are Forever.” The Peony & Vanilla Galentine’s Candle is a take on a line from a Miley Cyrus song — it says “I Can Buy Myself Flowers,” but flowers is crossed out and followed by the word Candles instead, making this one the perfect gift to get yourself this year. Last but not least is a Golden Peaches scented candle that says “You’re Like Really Pretty!”

Now, a modern candle design with a seasonal focus can cost a pretty penny at other stores. But at Aldi, you can snag these Galentine’s Day candles for just $3.99. That means you really can grab one for yourself and a few others for your closest friends to celebrate. After all, Valentine’s Day is about love, but that doesn’t have to be romantic love. We love our friends more than almost anything, and we’re happy that thanks to Aldi’s affordable Valentine’s Day gifts, we’ll get to show them how we feel this February.
