Last year the brand launched an Everyday Luxuries line, which features fragrances inspired by high-end perfumes. The line was so popular, they expanded to include more scents, as well as a collection for men. Before we get into the good stuff, here’s a bit about the line itself. The brand released five new scents as part of their men’s collection, all of which were inspired by beloved, luxury colognes. We’re talking fragrances like Ralph Lauren’s Polo Blue, Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue, Chanel’s Bleu de Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent’s Myself, and Creed’s Aventus. Keep in mind, some of these cost well over $300 a bottle, which is definitely a splurge. Bath & Body Works’ men’s fragrances cost less than $20 for the cologne mists and $60 for the actual colognes.
In all honesty, $20 and $60 are already really great prices for cologne, especially high-quality ones that reviewers say last all day. But since we’re quickly approaching Valentine’s Day and the men in your life (including cologne-obsessed teen boys!) could use a little something special themselves, Bath & Body Works is offering the mists for $6 and the colognes for $35. Hues Of Blue Cologne Mist
First up on the list is Hues of Blue. This cologne mist features fresh fragrance notes of mandarin, crisp ocean air, and clean musk, and was made to evoke the feelings of “setting sail and exploring clear, blue water.” Naturally, an oceanic scent like that reminded shoppers of similar scents like Armani’s Aqcua di Gio and Dolce Gabbana’s Light Blue.
One shopper on Reddit, on the other hand, swears the cologne is an “amazing” dupe of Ralph Lauren’s Polo Blue. As they wrote in their post, “My boyfriend and I have been long distance for almost three and a half years … When he was here, he wore Ralph Lauren Polo Blue and every time I smell that scent, it brings me back to being with him, to the point where I actually bought the bottle just to keep his scent on a shirt he gave me … Hues of Blue is such an amazing dupe!! Smelling it immediately brought me back to being with him. Really love Bath & Body Works for bringing so many dupes at a more affordable price. Happy girl right now!”
Eau So Navy Cologne Mist
Now this is a scent that has Bath & Body Works’ fans begging for an expanded line. The Eau So Navy cologne mist has notes of fresh ginger, rich cedarwood, and vetiver. Put that all together and the fragrance may have you feeling like you’re taking a refreshing retreat in the middle of someplace totally new. According to one Redditor, from the same thread as the above, “I have full confidence that Eau So Navy is a dupe of Chanel’s Bleu de Chanel, one of my favorites colognes.” Another backed up their comment saying it was “spot on.”
Glory Cologne Mist
If you or someone you know is a fan of Creed’s Aventus, here’s a cologne that’ll have you saving over $350 (!) on a bottle. Bath & Body Works’ Glory will have you smelling like a “bright, bold trailblazer” thanks to its featured fragrance notes of electric lemon, patchouli, and blonde cedar. “It’s a decent dupe of the Aventus DNA,” wrote one shopper. “More lemon forward, but I’m a CDNIM fanboy, so I dig it. I’d say the scent profile straddles somewhere between Aventus and Aventus Cologne. I’m also not quite sure why, but the B&BW cologne mists last longer on my skin than the regular colognes. I’d buy again.”
Rouge Rebel Cologne Mist
As its name implies, Rouge Rebel was meant to be a dupe for Baccarat Rouge 540, and it seems like they did a great job considering one shopper called it a “clone” of the original scent. This is one of the most highly-rated scents in the entire line. As one reviewer wrote, “This is a masculine dupe of Baccarat Rouge 540. Smells amazing, my favorite of all the new mens’ releases. It has the teeniest hint of sweetness from the apple note, but creamed together nicely with the woodsy and musky notes. It’s a masculine, sweet woodsy fragrance. Excellent.” So, once again, why pay $350 when you can get a super similar scent for just $6?
In addition to Baccarat Rouge, shoppers also say this is very similar to Bath & Body Works’ First Sight, which was a limited-edition scent from their wedding collection last year.
My Signature Cologne Mist
Last, but not least is the My Signature cologne mist, which many say is an exact dupe of Yves Saint Laurent’s Myself. Its fragrance notes include golden pineapple, orange flower, and tonka bean, and it was made to transport you to a tropical beach. It’s “masculine and strong,” wrote one shopper. “This one stopped me, I had to keep sniffing it. Couldn’t believe how great this smells! One of the best men’s scents I’ve smelled at Bath & Body Works in awhile.” At just $6, it’s a must-try for sure.
