Before we know it, spring will be here. Although we still have about a month left of these cold, dark days of winter, it’s never too early to start shopping for your spring wardrobe. After all, so many brands are already dropping their spring collections. If you live in dresses during the spring and summer season, I’ve got the all-occassion dress you definitely need in your closet.
Quince‘s Linen Scoop Neck Midi Dress is a spring and summer wardrobe staple. It’s made of the “finest quality linen” you can find in Europe, so you’re getting a dress that’s not only chic and a total classic, it’s also soft, breathable, and lightweight to wear. We love that it has several key features that make the dress flattering for multiple body types, including its scoop neck, midi length, and smocked back for comfort. It’s a highly versatile dress that can be worn for any and all occasions, from a casual Sunday brunch to a friend’s wedding. Oh, and did I mention it also has pockets?! In fact, it has one invisible side zipper and functional front pockets — a major plus if you ask me.
Similar dresses that offer the same type of quality from stores like Aritzia or Reformation (which Quince themselves compares this dress to), can cost well over $150. Fortunately, that’s not the case here with Quince. You can get this premium quality linen dress for just under $80.
Just because it is a more affordable option than the aforementioned brands, it doesn’t mean it lacks in quality. I’ve tried a ton of pieces from Quince, from their leather jackets to their cult-fave cashmeres. They’re definitely worth trying. I’ve gotten tons of compliments on their cashmeres, in particular. Plus, they’re sizing is pretty good (just double check with comments on what other people think to be sure!). I’ve also gifted Quince pieces to friends and family, as well. So, it you haven’t tried anything from the brand but are curious about their linen dresses, go for it. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

The dress is currently available in 11 colors (all of which are gorgeous), but Quince shoppers seem to really love it in Soft Yellow. In fact, one recent reviewer wrote, “Love this dress! It’s flattering and great for warm weather. I don’t typically wear yellow, but this is such a flattering, soft hue. Definitely recommend!”
