Savvy shoppers already know T.J. Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods are the holy triumvirates when it comes to discount shopping. You can walk into any of these three stores not knowing what you’re going to find, and the next thing you know, you’re walking out of there with a cartful of clothing, home decor, furniture and other “essentials” you’ve convinced yourself you need. All the while, you’re paying half what you’d normally pay at stores like Target. It’s a dangerous little game we play with ourselves, but without fail, we walk out of these stores feeling like freaking super-saver Sherlock Holmes.
But today, everything changes. No longer do you need to get off your couch to shop T.J. Maxx. Little did you know, you can actually shop their items online.
The craziest part is they’ve actually had an online store since 2013.
Apparently, T.J. Maxx and HomeGoods launched e-commerce sites in 2004. Years later, both sites shuttered, and they went back to selling solely in stores. HomeGoods wouldn’t relaunch its site, but T.J. Maxx sure did.
Now, if you’re hesitant to shop online because you’re afraid of losing the thrill of discovering a deal, don’t fret. Not only is the inventory updated daily — giving you a reason to visit frequently to find new items — but T.J. Maxx also does a great job of letting you know if an item is “almost gone” and offers the ability to “reveal designer” on products by well-known, more expensive brands.
Here are just some items we can’t resist.
