House flipping shows are the bread-and-butter of daytime TV networks that don’t run soap operas or just marathons of Law and Order: SVU all day, and now E! is getting in on the action with a new show called Flip It Like Disick. The show will star Kardashian-adjacent Scott Disick (ex-partner of Kourtney Kardashian) and his friend Willa Ford (yes, the pop star who sang “I Wanna Be Bad” back in 2001), along with a crew of characters familiar to fans of KUWTK as they remodel and sell high-end homes. Not your average home — luxurious, mega-million mansions only.

Apparently, this isn’t Disick’s first foray into home remodeling and design (or reality TV, for that matter). He’s remodeled guest houses for his famous friends and family, designed a playhouse for his kids, and has successfully flipped properties before (allegedly). Disick will be Executive Producer of the show along with Kris Jenner, and honestly, thank God she’s involved.
Would I trust Kris Jenner to flip my home? Absolutely. The woman is a business powerhouse who knows how to get sh*t done (and how to get other people to do it for her). On the other hand, would I trust Disick to flip my home? Abso-freaking-lutely not. I would barely trust him to step foot in my apartment, never mind hope that he’ll somehow be able to make me a profit without destroying his and my personal life in the process (or hitting on my 20-year-old neighbor). The homeowners featured on the show better hope that Jenner is involved in more than the producer title.

Included in the rest of the cast are Benny Luciano (Disick’s best friend), Miki Moor (described as an “all-star short-tempered contractor”), and Lindsay Diamond (Disick’s assistant). Sounds like a real professional crew. While we can definitely expect lots of drama from the show, here’s hoping that there’s a behind-the-scenes crew that’ll make sure these luxury flips actually happen, so that no one’s home is actually destroyed in the name of making exciting reality TV.
The show premieres this summer on E! and will have eight one-hour episodes for us to look forward to.
