Why host every Game of Thrones viewing party on Sundays — slaving in the kitchen making Chicken LittleFingers, baking lemon cakes and shaking up GoT-inspired cocktails — when you can stay in your own Game of Thrones suite and get treated like a queen or king? At Refinery Hotel, located in New York City, you can do just that in the decked-out suite appropriately named “Lannister’s Lair.”

Every Sunday through the end of this final season on May 19 (excuse us as we get choked up a bit just typing that…), Lannister’s Lair has all the makings for an epic watch party.
The suite includes fur throws “to drape over your royal throne,” plenty of dragon egg candles, themed banners, goblets full of wine à la Tyrion; Game of Thrones-themed, catered room service, and — most importantly — access to HBO and HBO GO.
Royal guests will be treated to a charcuterie board, two entrées and two bottles of red or white wine. On the menu, you’ll find dishes like the “Feast of Winterfell,” which includes pork shank, braised collard greens, heirloom beans, pomegranate gremolata; and the “Braavos Branzino,” a fish, ginger, castelvetrano olives, almonds and crispy broken potatoes dish.

Here’s the bad news, though: Lannister’s Lair did cost a pretty, with a one-night rate of $569 per night. But now? It’s totally booked, and we’re just as bummed as you are.
If you were one of the lucky guests to snag the room, please do us all a favor and share photos of the experience so we can sip on our Wildfire Cocktails, eat a Wildling Wing and live vicariously through you.
