Seasoned shoppers know summer is a great time for sales. I mean, from Mother’s Day and Memorial Day to Labor Day and Fourth of July, the warm weather months are chock full of discounts, steals and super great deals. But if you are looking to furnish your home, look no further than Ikea because the home decor store will be having two summer sales and the savings are huge.
But what can shoppers expect to find? Ikea’s first event — dubbed the Ikea Summer Sale — will feature hefty discounts on numerous staples like duvets, mattresses, coffee tables, lamps, rugs and cushions. They are also selling one super sweet Billy bookcase in bright yellow!

The second event, known as the Ikea Kitchen Event, will allow customers to design their “dream kitchen at an affordable price.” According to a press release, Ikea Family members will receive 10% off their kitchen purchases.
Ikea shoppers can also pay over time, with the Ikea Projekt credit card.
That said, there is a catch. The deals will only be available for a limited time — the summer sale runs from June 26 to July 7 and the kitchen event is from June 19 to July 28. Unfortunately, both sales only are good as long as supplies last, which may be a problem because anyone who’s been to an Ikea sale before knows how quickly these items will go. You also have to be an Ikea Family member to score some of the savings, but with perks like free coffee and BOGO froyo, the real question isn’t why sign up, it’s why not? Seriously. Your meatball loving heart has nothing to lose.
