You’ve seen the “I don’t know who needs to hear this, but…” meme floating around the past few months — one of them being “but you don’t need anything from Target today.” Yeah, well, scrap that because after you take one peek at Target’s Statement Furniture section of their store — both IRL and online — you’re going to want all the things from Target today.
Currently, the Statement Furniture section has over 700 pieces of furniture listed for sale online, and it’s an irresistibly chic and modern, yet affordable mix of statement pieces that’ll inspire you to wipe the slate clean and completely refurnish your home. OK, that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but adding one or two new pieces from Target in your home is 100 percent doable — and won’t drain your bank account.
The Statement Furniture section has everything from living room and dining room chairs, to living room and bedroom accents, like black-out curtains, throw pillows in fun, funky prints; tufted, hassled and beaded poufs; and millennial-pink and gold-accented corner chairs.
While some items exceed many shoppers’ allotted home furnishing budget (the Designlovefest corner chair being one of them at more than $600), many items are reasonably priced at less than $100 (including the many printed and textured ottomans found listed on Target’s website).
