So, confession time: I’ve been lucky enough to try nearly every product Vegamour has put out. From their fan-fave GRO Hair Serum (that I can rave about for forever!) to their hydrating HYDR-8 line that has brand partner Nicole Kidman’s stamp of approval, the vegan hair care brand creates problem-solving products that actually work. With that said, I was super excited to learn that they released a brand new product to their already incredible lineup, and it’s just the thing you need to transform dry, winter hair.
The Vegamour HYDR-8 Weightless Repair Oil is described as a silicone-free product made to strengthen, smooth, and add a natural, glossy shine. It’s made with ingredients such as Marula oil for nourishment and vitamin C oil for protection and possible growth. It fights frizz, which can be especially annoying for some during winter. It also helps repair hair and seal split ends. While it’s good for all hair types and textures, the brand says it’s especially good for those with fine or thin hair as the oil is super lightweight. You can apply it after you shower or on dry hair to give it a bit of shine.
I’m no stranger to hair oils and have tried quite a few from Kérastase to K-beauty brands. Compared to most of the oils I’ve used, Vegamour’s repair oil is definitely a lot lighter and almost feels like you’re pumping water into your hands. But once you apply it on your hair (I mostly use it post-shower), it absorbs super fast and makes your hair a lot easier to comb through. I like that it doesn’t leave your hands feeling oily and gross, which is a problem I find with a lot of other hair oils. After blow drying, I do feel like my hair looks a lot sleeker and shinier with the oil than without. It also has a nice, subtle scent that I kind of like. Overall, I’d say it’s definitely worth trying, especially if you hate the greasiness of typical hair oils.

The Vegamour HYDR-8 Weightless Repair Oil just dropped, but those who’ve had a chance to try it are already obsessed. “I’m beyond impressed,” wrote one reviewer. “It’s now my staple for a lasting, glossy shine. An absolute essential for my hair that not only looks, but also feels incredible!”
One reviewer with “thick, wavy hair” found great results after using the new product as well. “This oil made my hair really soft and frizz-free,” they wrote. “I like that it is made without silicone and makes my hair stronger. I haven’t noticed a difference in my hair like this in a long time. I am definitely a fan.”
