For the better portion of my career, I’ve been privileged enough to receive plenty of beauty products. Everything from shampoos and conditioners, to nail polish, makeup, and so much more — I’ve even gotten a handful of sex toys here and there. At this point, I’ve pretty much seen and used it all — most I like, some I don’t, and a few I love. While there are several body products I consider wonderful, there’s one brand in particular that I always seem to reach for the most: Nativa SPA. In case you aren’t familiar, Nativa SPA is a sustainable Brazilian body care brand that’s adored by many, including model Lais Ribeiro. It’s received so much love from Hollywood that some of its best products were even included in an exclusive Grammy’s gift bag this year.
Everything the brand has to offer, from their super hydrating body oil to their firming lotion (which I’ve used to the last drop), is absolutely amazing — but there’s one duo in particular that has given me the softest skin of my life this winter.
The Nativa SPA Madagascar Vanilla Soothing Body Scrub and Shea Ultra-Moisturizing Body Butter have become holy grails in my body care routine. Like always, both products are made with Nativa SPA’s signature quinoa oil, which is rich in nutrients and antioxidants to give your skin a healthy glow. The body scrub has African vanilla in it, which also has antioxidants.

And because I’m somewhat scared of exfoliating (I’ve had some bad experiences), I only use the scrub once or sometimes twice a week (at most) when I do an “everything shower,” and it is incredibly gentle. I think it has an almost gel-like texture that, when applied to wet skin, gets absorbed instead of just sitting on top of the skin like other scrubs I’ve tried. After rinsing, I have such smooth, soft skin. In my opinion, it also has a warm vanilla scent that’s so intoxicating and pairs well with the body butter.
The body butter’s scent has subtle hints of vanilla and honey that go well with the scrub, but it also has top notes of almond that make me smell like a warm, delicious winter treat. Trust me, it’s something you have to experience. After the sweet aroma, the body butter has become a favorite body product of mine because of how moisturizing it is. Its formula has 10 percent more shea, a fantastic ingredient for soft, supple skin. While I enjoy using Nativa SPA’s body oil, the body butter is a better option for me this time of year, especially after exfoliating. I find it to be a more relieving option after stripping my body of its dead skin — plus, a little goes a long way, so I don’t feel like I’m wasting product.
