Vintage dishes and glasses are so beautiful and are fun to use at special occasion dinner parties. But the problem with vintage pieces is that they’re often super delicate and can even contain harmful chemicals like lead that can leech into foods. So rather than go the true-blue vintage route, check out these vintage-inspired dishes and glasses from Target to get that hand-me-down vibe without having to worry about breakage and contamination.

All of these finds can be purchased from Target’s website and have stellar reviews, so you know you’re getting a good quality piece.

This pink glass tumbler from Target’s Threshold brand features fluting and embossed dots on the exterior of the glass, giving it that antique feel. But the pink tint makes it a bit more modern and whimsical. These glasses are dishwasher safe, great for both hot and cold beverages, and just $4 each.

These tumblers are a new addition to Target’s Threshold collection and they’re already getting a lot of positive attention. They currently have a five-star rating on Target’s website!

This beautiful porcelain serving bowl from Threshold is super simple yet has a vintage flair thanks to the dotted rim around the outside of the bowl. It’s a large 42-ounce size, making it perfect for serving family-style portions, and is both microwave- and dishwasher-safe.

“Purchased these about a month ago and have used them numerous times already,” one Target reviewer wrote. “In addition to using as a serving bowl, they are perfectly sized for soups, chili, and pastas, and are very sturdy and attractive. Highly recommend.”

Looking for something a bit more ornate? This vegetable serving bowl from Noritake looks like an heirloom piece. The Sweet Leilani print features gray and muted pink florals and the dish itself looks antique with its figural shape and silver trimming.

“Perfect bowl for vegetables or potatoes,” one Target reviewer wrote. “The lid fits perfectly on the bowl, great design, and very happy with it.”

This mixing bowl from Target’s new Figmint collection may look really similar to one your grandmother had way back in the day with its thick rim and color-blocked stripes. But this version of an old classic is dishwasher- and microwave-safe. It can hold up to three quarts of ingredients and comes in both the teal green stripe pattern, as well as a red stripe pattern.

“Bowls white [and] red horizontal stripes look very vintage and are microwave safe,” one five-star reviewer wrote, with someone else adding, “Perfect size for mixing pancake, cookie, brownie or cake batter.”

To go with that vegetable serving dish from Nortake, you can also grab this large bowl from the same brand that has the same Sweet Leilani print on it. The antique-inspired ornate floral design is printed inside the rim of the bowl giving it that super traditional feel.

“I have almost the entire set of these beautiful elegant dishes,” one Target shopper wrote. “They are timeless beauties. I use them often not just for fine dining. If I don’t use them now I would never get the chance. My favorite!”

Noritake makes this vintage-inspired dish for Target, too, which is a bit less traditional than the Sweet Leilani print. It looks a bit like handmade Japanese pottery, especially with the blue accents, and this piece can be matched with other pieces from the Hammock collection.
