Determining whether a Walmart+ membership is worth it depends on a few factors, including how much you shop.

Walmart has determined that the average Walmart+ member saves $1,300 a year — and when you deduct the $98 yearly membership fee, that’s still a savings of more than $1,200. No chump change!

Then you have to take into consideration how practical the deals and perks are. Let’s say you need a few last-minute things from the grocery store or you’re out of toilet paper or dishwashing detergent right before you have guests coming over, for instance. You’ll pay $7 in delivery fees alone each time you place an order that’s less than $35 — and those fees add up.
