I won’t lie; I love going to the beach and pool as much as the next person. Even though I hate getting my hair wet (yes, I’m that girl), I enjoy splashing around all day like a child in a kiddie pool. What I don’t enjoy, however, is how pruney my skin gets. As someone who doesn’t care for lilac or lavender scents, I was pleasantly surprised when I smelled the new body lotion. The smell is perfectly light — you can definitely sense the combination, but it’s not overpowering, nor does it linger too long. But honestly, when it comes to body lotion, I’m not the most concerned with its smell; instead, I like how well it keeps my skin moisturized.

After spending three days in dry heat, going in and out of pools and the ocean, my skin felt incredibly dry, tight, and pruney. While the scent of the hotel’s lotion was more up my alley, it did nothing for my skin. I repeatedly returned to this smoothing lotion every time I took a shower or was done with the water for the day.
