Ever since Home Depot launched its 12-foot skeleton Halloween decoration in 2020, we’ve been seeing massive skeletons towering over neighborhoods every fall. It’s our new favorite tradition! But while their skeleton called “Skelly” will put a $300 dent in your trick-or-treat candy budget, Walmart’s new version is just a little shorter — and is less than $200 today!
Walmart’s bag of bones is named “Steve,” and he stands at a much friendlier 10-feet-tall (but don’t get us wrong; he still towers over mere mortals like us). The white, posable skeleton is weatherproof and made for hanging out in your front lawn. Make him spookier by putting him next to other haunted decor, or give him a nicer vibe by dressing him in a silly Halloween costume (Taylor Swift skeleton, anyone?)
This skeleton comes with a sturdy base and lawn stakes for support, no matter what type of accessories you put on him or how windy your neighborhood gets. You don’t want Steve falling on unsuspecting neighbors!
Shoppers love Steve the Poseable Skeleton, which they say is “made surprisingly very well, with sturdy, thick blow-mold plastic.” Important for long-lasting durability, you know.
“Halloween statement piece for sure! Talk of the neighborhood. Trick or treaters enjoyed admiring it as well. Will definitely try to keep it up through Christmas with Christmas lights!” another said. And, btw, why stop there? He could hold paper valentines and Easter eggs too!
Walmart is known for their high-quality, yet affordable alternatives to popular products, and Steve the Skeleton fits the bill. Whether you’re in a cute or scary mood this Halloween, Steve will fit in perfectly.
