Tiananmen Square and the Imperial Palace

One word for these two locales: expansive! On a recent trip to Beijing I was amazed at how both neighboring locations seem to keep going and going! Tiananmen Square is especially impressive when you consider how many people have packed in there for various world events. The Imperial Palace is a seemingly never-ending maze of tributes to leaders past and present and will not disappoint!
