Being an Enthusiast is my JOB!!!

Today I am flying to Denver,Colorado for the Harley-Davidson Summer Dealer Meeting. A large group of us will be traveling together as representatives of our dealership. We will get to see what
is new for 2010!!
Being an “Enthusiaist” isn’t all fun..sometimes it is work… oh but who am I kidding… work is fun!! LOL It is so exciting being the first to see what’s new in the H-D world. It is such a
priviledge to be working within the industry of such an enjoyable part of my life.
Riding is true freedom to those who have indulged… I wish that I was riding to Denver instead of flying but time does not allow as the other passion in my life is waiting for me in New Jersey. As
soon as I return from Denver I will be road tripping to New Jersey to meet my newborn grandson for the first time. I look forward to riding in New Jersey again and seeing that beautiful baby for
the first time. Will send some pics next time around.
In the meantime…. stay well and be focused on the goal…… women in the wind! Enjoy and stay determined to ride if that is the goal you have set for yourself. There are so many women out there
who will encourage you to ride. Take heed and listen well ladies…. you’ll never know what you are missing until you get on that bike!!!
Simple Rides

I recently found a quote I like in a magazine:
“It isn’t the great big pleasures that count the most; it’s making a great deal out of the little ones.” – Jean Webster, Daddy-Long-Legs
I’ve often said it’s the simple things in my life that make me happy. I think most would agree. And when I look at the rides I’ve taken on my bike, the short rides can
sometimes be the best and take you to wonderful places. I’m looking at the weekend ahead wondering where my ride will take me. I’m thinking I will head out to visit some
friends, check on the crops growing around the state, or just enjoy the day. If you ride, you’ll understand that sometimes you just go without any plans. Last weekend the ride
took me through the town I grew up in, West Concord, a small town in Minnesota of about 800 people. Yes, everyone knows you and surprisingly most still know what I’m up to! Stopped into
the local pub only to see some old familiar faces.
Recently I’ve been following a friend’s status updates on another website. She’s planning a big bike trip for this summer. There are so many places she’d like to
visit in the US, but narrowing it down can be hard. It’s fun following her train of thought about where she wants to visit. My husband and I also have a couple of big trips coming
up this year. First of all, heading out West from Minnesota to the Vancouver area and later this year riding Harley’s in South Africa. There’s a lot of planning going on for
those trips. I’ll discuss this more in future blogs. I’m also interested to hear from anyone who may have ventured out on his or her bikes to these areas.
