Betty White may well be one of the world’s best known animal activists. Her animal charity work dates back to when she was a child, and she even admitted to the Chicago Tribune, “My life is divided absolutely in half — half is my animal work and half is show business. I have to stay in show business to pay for my animal charity work.” Betty never has more than four dogs at once because, she says, “You run out of hands if you have more noses than that.” According to the New York Daily News, Betty White is set to leave her $5 million estate to her pets when she passes.
