Semi-straight, tousled look
More styled than the bedhead or beach waves look, the semi-straight tousled look still has that effortless chic appeal. This look is sure to be big this spring, according to Phillip Wilson, international creative director for FHI Heat, Inc.
“To achieve this look, start by using a low PH (detangling) shampoo and conditioner that will help repel the outside humidity that causes frizz,” he explains. Next, towel dry your hair. Before blow-drying, “begin by applying FHI Heat Hot Sauce to the mid strands and ends or a volumizing whipped foam or mousse at the base to provide support and volume,” Wilson says.
Start by flipping your hair upside down and running your fingers through it while you dry. Then blow-dry right side up with a center part. “Finish by using a pea-size amount of pomade or styling wax, such as David Babaii Molding Paste towards the hair ends,” he advises.
