If you don’t usually wear makeup, getting a makeover or doing it yourself can seem like a daunting task for the evening. Instead of going overboard and gobbing it on, go for a natural look. A swipe of tinted lipgloss and some mascara is sometimes all a girl really needs. If you’re in doubt, make an appointment at your department store’s beauty counter for a makeover. They’re usually complimentary when you purchase something and the beauty whizzes can show you a new look that isn’t overly girly.
