Toast 2011 in the Big Apple and even bring the family if you like. The legendary Plaza Hotel is hosting a Black, White and Pink celebration to toast the New Year. The Plaza is the hotel where the storybook Eloise lived (and you can even stay in her Betsey Johnson-designed suite). The New Year’s Eve festivities include dinner at the historic Palm Court restaurant, with three-course menus for adults and children, which includes a Chocolate Factory Display with giant lollipops, cakes and cookies, and a chocolate fountain. The celebration continues in the Eloise Shop where games, arts and crafts, and Eloise-themed activities for all ages will be offered, along with a screening of Home Alone 2.
Prices are $120 per person, $85 for children up to 12 years of age. The Plaza’s New Year’s Eve package includes a $200 hotel credit for standard rooms and a $400 hotel credit for suites. Want to stay at The Plaza for a truly extravagant New Year’s? Rooms start at $995 per night.
