Crandon Park

Visit Crandon Park on the north end of the island. Two miles of white sand and perfect waves are why the picturesque Crandon Park is consistently ranked among the best beaches in the nation. It’s also a frequent setting for fashion shoots and movie sets.

Cape Florida

Take a tour of the historic Cape Florida lighthouse—built in 1825, it’s one of the oldest lighthouses in the country and the only lighthouse to have experienced an Indian attack. The lighthouse is located in the Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Recreation Area. The state recreation area features one mile of sublime Atlantic beachfront, biking, hiking, kayaking and shoreline fishing.

Miami Seaquarium

Visit the Miami Seaquarium. The 38-acre world-class marine-life entertainment center features shows with dolphins and killer whales. Children can play with sea lions and see endangered sea turtles and manatees. General admission is $37.95 for adults and $27.95 for children up to 9 years.

How to get to Key Biscayne

Just south of Miami Beach and east of Miami, the Rickenbacker Causeway connects Key Biscayne to Miami. If you’re flying, Miami International Airport is the closest airport, just 10 miles from Key Biscayne.
