With winter winding down (at least, in our minds), it’s time to bust out some brand new beauty trends for a new season. We’ve been keeping an eye on what’s new, and here we share our top picks for getting pretty this spring.
Bold lips
Put the spotlight on your pout with some juicy lip color in shades that pop. Seen on runways from Marc Jacobs to Diane Von Furstenberg, vibrant hues are the season’s go-to lip lacquer. Whether with matte or high-gloss lipstick, put your lips on display this spring.
Flirty flush
Rosy glows are in this spring, and if you’re not going to get it from good old-fashioned exercise, try a cream blush to give your cheeks that healthy, in-from-the-outdoors look. This trend pairs well with neutral lips and flowing hair to complete the au naturalstyle statement.
Bright eyes
Oscar de la Renta and Derek Lam put models on the runway sporting eye-popping shadow. Make your eyes the life of the party with neon hues sure to turn heads. Keep lips nude and skin neutral if you try this trend.
Undone chic
Messy up-dos with loose strands framing your face are poised to make a statement this spring. This look is casual yet chic and offers an alternative to the season’s other hot hair look: highly structured buns. To get the look, gather hair and tie back most of it, while letting some strands fall around your face.
Fresh, clean skin
There is nothing more beautiful than a fresh, glowing complexion, as seen on runway after runway at the spring shows this year. Trade heavy foundation (which can give your skin a mask-like effect) and opt instead for tinted moisturizer all over, concealer where you need it most and a dusting of translucent loose powder.
