Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi wrote a book, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino roasted Donald Trump, and nowSammi “Sweetheart” Giancola is trying her hand at designing jewelry. It was announced by People.com Thursday that the hard partying, fighting and kiss-‘n-make-up reality MTV starlet launched her own line of Guidette friendly bling.

The line is appropriately called “Sammi Sweetheart“ and embraces costume jewelry brand RichRocks. Sammi’s line consists of seven blingy pieces focused on her “sweetheart” image. Sweetheart image? Really? Maybe for the first five minutes of Season One. But of course her catch phrase is: “I’m the sweetest bitch you’ll ever meet,” so I suppose it’s valid.
The line includes heart-shaped pendants, crystal bracelets, and large hoop earrings. (Just make sure you take them off when battling your roommates.) In a very smart marketing move, Sammi isn’t charging over the top prices for her works of wearable art. All are being sold for less than $100.
She told People:
“I love that the RichRocks brand and my collection retails for just under $100. It was very important for me to keep all of the pieces affordable for my fans so they can purchase more than one piece and add to the collection. I have created some great fun and flirty pieces to wear day into night.”
Eh, in these hard economic times, even $100 seems pricy for costume jewelry. Will this line be successful for it’s cute pieces or be lauded by obsessed-fan only shoppers?
