Flattering fall denim

Denim has been around for ages and isn’t going anywhere, especially since you can wear it in so many great ways, from jeans and skirts to jackets and vests. If you’re going to be covering your legs in denim this fall, then you might as well rock a style that is best suited for your body shape.

Hourglass

One of the best things about an hourglass shape is that fitted and tailored denim coats and jackets look remarkable against your natural curves. Skinny jeans in any color denim will accentuate your legs. Pairing the jeans with a denim vest will highlight your shapely bust and small waist.

Wedge

The wedge shape is also called the T-shape because it typically features a broad shoulder with a smaller waist. Instead of wearing something strapless, complement this shape by covering the shoulders with a cap-sleeve denim dress.

Pear

A denim skirt that is flat in the front is the best fit for a pear-shaped woman. If you’re not into denim skirts, try out a pair of boyfriend jeans in dark denim. Those dark jeans look best when paired with a long coat that covers the pear-shaped bottom.

Apple

If you are a woman with an apple shape, consider super-flattering boot-cut jeans, with their wide legs that flare at the bottom. Apple-shaped women tend to have large busts and narrow hips, so choose denim jackets without any shoulder padding, and keep the look unbuttoned for the best effect.

Rectangle

Women with a rectangle body shape have a lot of room to get creative. A curvy denim skirt will add more definition to the narrow hips that are typical of this body shape. Add some 1970s flair to your look by wearing wide-leg bell bottoms to give yourself a more feminine silhouette.
