We’re all busy women trying to hustle, bustle and check off our never ending to-do lists. Wouldn’t it be so much easier if there was more than 24 hours in a day? Here are some tips and tricks on adding at least one more hour to get things done!
Stop procrastinating
Procrastination is one of the worst time management skills. It does not help in completing your task, nor does it help in adding more time to your day. If you have a daunting task, get it done! It will save the time that you would have spent delaying it!

Do one thing at a time
Multi-tasking may feel like you are getting more done, but you could actually be adding more time to your day. Not focusing on one project at a time can create mistakes that you just have to go back and fix later. Doing one thing at a time will allow things to get done more efficiently and effectively the first time around.

Make a schedule and stick to it
Creating a schedule will allow you to set blocks of time aside to see what you need to get done by physically seeing what is on the list. This will also aid in prioritizing what is most important and help you remember what you need to get done.

Make use of “wait time”
Whether you are waiting in the doctor’s office or waiting to pick up your kids after school, you can be making use of this time. Instead of checking your Facebook status, read a book or file down your nails. Making use of down time will create another gap later in your day

Just say no!
Asked to bake cookies for the church bake-off tomorrow? If you don’t have time for it, don’t take it on! This will cause more of a crunch in your day and cause you to feel stressed out. If you feel bad about saying no, suggest a trade-off with somebody for a later date, or take on a simpler task, such as working the concession stand.
