Lip plumpers are one of the beauty items that took over the market when they were introduced. The most popular was DuWop’s Lip Venom which we fell in love with back in the ’90s. Well, we’re in love all over again with DuWop’s organic version of the famous lip plumper, Pure Venom.
DuWop Pure Venom
Yes, beauty fans…lip plumpers actually work. They bring blood to the vessels in the lips, have a great tingle and give your smackers a lovely fullness without the creepy look of an injection. DuWop cornered the market (and inspired a zillion imitators) with Lip Venom, but the version we’re currently in love with is the DuWop Pure Venom. It comes in a pot and gives a tiny tingle. It’s not the burning sensation (that we kind of love…like hot wings for your lips) that the original venom gives you. Just a mild version. But it does fill out the lines in the lips. It’s their organic version of Lip Venom with shea butter, safflower oil and jojoba oil so you can feel good about your puffy lips. The packaging is sustainable, too.

We’re loving the color as well. Pure Berry is a deep, yet sheer plum. This one is dark enough to look good (and different) on any skin tone. We love this look with a nice deep blush (or cheek pinching…you know the color we mean) and nude eyeshadow with a thick black liner. Totally stunning. It also comes in Pure Nude for you nature girls.
