DIY photo vase

As classic as a simple glass vase is, it’s sometimes nice to add a bit of color and personality to your centerpieces. This DIY photo vase is a great way to spruce up and add color to your tabletop and also makes a great gift idea.

Not only does this add pizzazz to a simple flower arrangement, it’s a great idea for a unique wedding centerpiece as well. Plus, at less than $10 to make, this project won’t hurt your pocketbook either.

What you’ll need:

  • 5 x 5″ square or circular vase
  • 4 colored pieces of construction paper or Styrofoam sheets
  • Glue or tape
  • Photos
  • Scissors
  • Paper clips or colored clothespins

Step 1: Measure and cut paper or Styrofoam to fit vase

Measure the paper or foam to fit the vase perfectly. You may need to trim it a few times so it fits. Cut where you measured it and fit into the vase.

Step 2: Glue or tape your photos to the paper/foam

Once the paper/foam has been cut to fit, glue or tape your photos to the surface and hold in place so they set.

Once pictures have set on the foam/paper, carefully place it back into the vase, securing it with a colored paper clip or clothespin.

Step 3: Fill vase with flowers or plants and display

A cute, fun way to show off your photographs!
