Ko Tao
Tiny Koh Tao is known for its snorkeling and scuba diving, as well as its palm-fringed beaches. There are a few sandy spots to choose from — some more crowded than others, but overall a bit less chaotic (for now) island compared to some of the bigger, more resort-laden alternatives. Clear water (of course), pristine beaches and some beautiful coral reefs to explore all add up to a place that’s hard to leave.
