Top 6 Las Vegas strip hotels

Oh, Las Vegas. The adult Disney World. The playground for grown-ups. A candy store for the 21-plus set. Though known as Sin City, Vegas is also a destination for families, penny-pinchers, lovebirds and girlfriend getaways. Here are our top picks for the best Las Vegas strip hotels for every traveler.

Luxury seekers

Caesars Palace

We feel like we have to speak with a Robin Leach accent when talking about Caesars Palace. One of the most celebrated and legendary Las Vegas resorts and casinos, right in the heart of the strip, Caesars is favored for its fun and diverse gaming space and awesome Total Rewards benefits. Personally, we like it for the prestige we feel upon entering — from impeccable service to luxurious guest rooms, award-winning restaurants to the Garden of the Gods Pool, there’s nothing like being doted upon.

Young partiers

Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino

Sure, Planet Hollywood offers hip, star-worthy accommodations. But that’s not what makes it our favorite party scene — this star-studded hotspot can be defined by three words: sexy, sexy, sexy. From lingerie-clad roulette dealers, to the musical striptease Peepshow as well as our favorite watering hole, the Pussycat Dolls Burlesque Saloon and aptly-named Pleasure Pool, Planet Hollywood is the only aphrodisiac you’ll need.

Budget travelers

Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon

Of course we all like to act like high rollers in Vegas, but sometimes we’re on a budget. We certainly aren’t going to let that ruin our fun. There are a lot of affordable places to rest your head in Vegas, but none with the central location and raw amusement that Bill’s has to offer (Beer pong and karaoke? Sign us up!). And at an affordable price, the rooms are clean and well-appointed, which is all we ask. While Bill’s doesn’t have its own pool, guests have access to the Flamingo’s 21-plus GO Pool. Score.

Romantic couples

The Cosmopolitan

Passion abounds at the Cosmopolitan. Get intimate in an urban-inspired room with your very own private terrace then cozy up to the bar at the jaw-dropping Chandelier lounge, where brilliant curtains of crystal beads reflect light and inspiration. Sip cocktails at the Bamboo Pool, designed with discrete hideaways offering you and your love a little privacy. Come sundown whet your appetite at one of the dozens of world-class restaurants the Cosmopolitan has to offer.

Non-gamers

Vdara Hotel & Spa

No gaming? Check. Smoke-free? Check. Eco-friendly? Check. And the beauty of it all? Easy access to gaming and all the debauchery you could possible want, located right between ARIA and Bellagio. Vdara, the world-renowned, all-suite resort, showcases dazzling accommodations, elite shopping and all-natural spa treaments. This is the place to stay when you want to relax and get away from the chaos and be the center of attention all at the same time.

Family vacationers

Excalibur Hotel & Casino

Every kid wants to spend the night in a castle! You can at the Excalibur. Spend a few hours at Fun Dungeon, a carnival and arcade the whole family will enjoy, then eat with your fingers and watch invading armies and jousting horsemen at kid-friendly Tournament of Kings. Plus, not many Vegas strip hotel and casinos offer a food court, including McDonald’s and Pizza Hut, something your kids will greatly appreciate. Excalibur’s proximity to the roller coaster at New York New York and M&M’s World doesn’t hurt either.
