The after outfit: Forgiving post-thanksgiving styles

The world doesn’t have to know about the extra piece of pumpkin pie you ate for Thanksgiving. Cover up any lumps and bumps flawlessly with these flattering fashion picks.

Leggings and a comfy tunic

When the weather is chilly and I just want to be comfy, I love to throw on a pair of flattering leggings and a big ‘ole tunic or sweater. Since leggings don’t offer as much support as zip-up jeans, I turn to ones with more support and shaping. Finish off the look with some comfy flats and you’re ready to chill out.

Flowing dress and shaping undies

Tight dresses and the day after Thanksgiving don’t exactly go hand in hand! But don’t take a few weeks off your dress wardrobe without a little backup, ladies. During those first few days after Thanksgiving indulgences, opt for flowing dresses to flatter your shape, and get a little extra backup with shaping undies. Finish your look off with a pair of tights and a chic pair of heels (a girl’s best slimming friend!) and you’re good to go.

Sheer blouse and jeans

Sheer blouses are one of my favorite fall fashion trends, and they’re also pretty figure flattering. If you want a bit more post-Thanksgiving coverage this month, don a shaping tank top under your sheer blouse. Finish the look off with dark wash jeans and a pair of fall’s hottest booties, and everyone will be focusing on your fab outfit, not your flab.
