Non gift-card gifts for the diehard fashionista

The fashionable lady in your life probably has everything worth having this season — until she sees these finds.

Holy hoops

With vying fitness crazes everywhere, it’s no wonder fashion has worked its way into the craze — behold custom, hand-decorated hula hoops from HoopMamas — we’re totally getting pink glitter varieties for ourselves! Fitness has never been more fun.

Strong in stature

OK, fine, we’re sure she has closets full of clothes — but other than a gift card for more clothes, what will she want to add to her collection? Frenchy Mannequin ($120) is a charming, vintage-inspired piece that is both fashionable and functional. Based on vintage dress forms, it’s covered in a Paris-inspired print fabric and can stand alone as is or be stylishly draped to reflect the season or even her mood.

Say it with a jolt

We know the highlight of at least one girl’s holiday season thus far. (That’d be me, for those of you late to the game… ) Starbucks has just launched the Verismo (the word comes from the Italian vero, meaning “true”), their own entry into the hot coffee pod machine market. The machine is a way to brew Starbucks-quality lattes, espresso and brewed coffee using Swiss engineered high-pressure technology right at home. We’ve had three espressos thus far this evening, and it’s doing its job — we have no reason to ever leave our kitchen and enter a cafe, ever again.

Everything is just vine

We’re totally into tights this season — they make so many of our outfits sing, and if you are already wearing regular old black tights? Kick them up a notch with these fab Everything’s Vine tights ($33) — aren’t they super cool? And if you are looking to get attention from you-know-who, they’re a bit flirty as well!

Culinary goddess

Your favorite fashion maven may or may not know her way around the kitchen, but if she does, she deserves a bouquet, don’t you think? The Bloom Utensil set is super cheery, and includes a Tulip Whisk, Pansy Slotted Turner, Leaf Spatula, Slotted Sunflower Spoon Solid Daisy Spoon and a vase to store them. (CookinColor.com, $29)

The most beautiful bride of all

Style Me Pretty Weddings: Inspiration & Ideas for an Unforgettable Celebration is from the same people as the super-popular StyleMePretty.com (the leading and fastest growing wedding publication on the web). It’s an entirely unique wedding resource that will guide and inspire anyone in the throes of planning. This book will not only be every bride’s go-to inspiration manual, but it’s also the perfect gift for newly engaged brides, fashionistas and decor divas alike. ($30)

Say it with a song

Ever notice, as your eyes are trained on the runways of fashion week, that every presentation has a specially choreographed musical score? Without said music, the fashion is less fluid, the style has less essence. Bring the sound of music — no pun intended, friends — into your beloved trendsetter’s heart, and it’ll set her style on a whole new level. Among our favorite new albums this season? Tom Brislin’s Hurry Up and Smell the Roses. Brislin is stylistically diverse — just like your beloved fashionista — yet his earnest lyrics set to the cinematic score will create a cohesive outfit even the chicest would covet.

“Fur” the one we love the most

Faux fur is hot this season, and if you love someone, you want them to be on trend. (That’s what I always say, at least.) This Giacca leopard faux fur coat is currently on sale for under $200, and it’s an amazing way to roar with the wind chill this season (adorably).

Enjoy a weekend in the country

Or something like that. Travel is pretty expensive — a lot for any holiday shopping list! But with fabulous accessories like these Justin women’s Torino fashion boots, your fave fashionista can play the part — and look like a modern-day sexy cowgirl, to boot. (No pun intended, obviously.)
