With all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it is easy to forget about yourself. Set time aside at the end of your busy day to give yourself a Christmas manicure. Taking the time to pamper yourself is good for your soul and will relax your stress. This cute Christmas theme will definitely put you and everyone around you in the mood to celebrate the season!
Supplies:
- A neutral nail polish (we used Essie’s Borrowed & Blue)
- A green nail polish (we used Ulta’s Envy)
- A red nail polish (we used Essie’s Russian Roulette)
- A brown nail polish (we used Orly’s Chocolate Martini)
- Thin paint brush
- Dotting tool (or end of a bobby pin)
- Nail decals
Instructions:
Paint base coat
Paint a thin coat of your neutral nail color. The light blue we used gives a nod to our wintry theme.
Paint green polka dots
Use your dotting tool to paint two rows of green polka dots on nine of your nails. Make sure to leave room in the center!
Paint red polka dots
Use your dotting tool to paint a row of red polka dots in between the pre-existing green ones.
Paint Christmas tree
On the bare nail of your choosing (we chose my right hand ring finger), use the thin paint brush to paint on a Christmas tree.
Decorate your Christmas tree
After your Christmas tree has dried thoroughly, place a small star decal on the top, then add small circle details such as Christmas ornaments.
