It’s pool season in Vegas: Check out the best!

Pool season is upon us! Start planning a trip to the home of the best — Las Vegas, of course. Though every Vegas hotel has a pool to be remembered, we nailed down the best of the best.

Bellagio hotel

Bikini? Check. Drink in hand? Check. Sunshine? Check. It’s officially pool season. Las Vegas isn’t a city known for being mild — they go all-out with everything from luxury suites and top-notch buffets to high-end casino games and superior pools. In other words, this is the place to vacation if you’re looking to relax and have a good time. When deciding where to stay, we vote for picking a hotel based on its swimming pool — after all, when it’s hot out, the pool is where you want to be!

Largest pool

Flamingo

Hotel Flamingo offers Vegas’ largest swimming pool, with 15 acres of lush, tropical surroundings and five separate pools. Connected by lagoons and water slides, Flamingo provides the ultimate swimming and relaxation experience. One of the pools even has a beautiful 18-foot waterfall!

Best all-around pools

Mandalay Bay

Mandalay Bay is almost as large as Flamingo, sitting on 11 acres total, but this pool truly has it all. There is a beach, a wave pool, a lazy river, beach dining, beach shopping and more, and there are over 100 cabanas, day beds, bungalows and villas available for rent. They even have an adults-only topless pool if you’re feeling frisky!

Hard Rock Hotel

Hard Rock Hotel is by far the best place to party in Vegas — and they take that motto to their pools! It’s got two pools, four hot tubs, private Tahitian cabanas and an underwater sound system. If you’re looking for over-the-top pool parties, loud music and exotic drinks, the Hard Rock is for you!

Bellagio

OK, we had to include a fancier pool, too. Bellagio Hotel is super high-end and classy, so it only makes sense that their pools are as well. The setting is romantic, quaint, relaxing and inviting. It’s as if you’ve stepped foot into a Mediterranean villa. The pools are heated and open year ’round, so come anytime if you’re in need of some high-end relaxation and superior service.

Best kid-friendly pools

Excalibur

If the kids are joining you on this trip, consider staying at Excalibur Hotel. There are two large pools — one is kid-friendly with a water slide and the other is for adults only. Excalibur is very affordable, plus it offers tons of amenities just for the kids — including an arcade, a SpongeBob SquarePants movie, rides and a jousting dinner show.

MGM Grand

MGM Grand Hotel is another great option if you’re bringing the kids. The pool complex has a large lazy river with waterfalls and caves. During peak season the pool can be quite energetic, so make sure to keep an eye on the kiddos. The hotel also offers the delicious Rainforest Café for meals that the kids love — complete with mist showers, rainforest decor everywhere and life-size gorillas.
