While some head to Vegas for the gambling and late night parties that go well into the early mornings, others travel to the Strip for the food. Each hotel houses one or more restaurants, ranging from Michelin-rated eateries to simple cupcake bakeries for the sweet-toothed tourist. With something for everyone, we wanted to showcase some of our favorites!
Las Vegas – home of some of the most luxurious hotels and restaurants in the world. Top chefs in the industry settle into Vegas and create a following for their restaurants in Las Vegas, the one place they can be as decadent, rich, and exuberant as they’d like. Because everything goes in Vegas, right?! Or better yet, does the saying “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” count with calories you consume?
China Poblano by Jose Andres at The Cosmopolitan
Chef Jose Andres is a culinary all-star and located in the swanky and ultra-sexy hotel that is The Cosmopolitan; China Poblano has a following all on her own. Who ever thought the combination of Asian and Mexican foods would be so surreal and delicious?! Jose Andres, that’s who! Connecting the East-meets-West-fusion, the team at China Poblano create some amazing dishes such as their “Viva China” tacos with soft beef tendon, Kumamoto oysters, and Sichuan peppercorn sauce. You’ll discover ceviches, noodles, soups, and even dim sum, all in one restaurant.
Mesa Grill by Bobby Flay at Caesar’s Palace
Looking for a hot-spot for lunch? Mesa Grill by Chef Bobby Flay is the place to be if you’re craving a good meal after a late night of boozy drinks. The one dish we can’t stop thinking about? The Spicy Chicken and Sweet Potato Hash with Poached Eggs and a Green Chile Hollandaise! Our mouth just watered thinking about it since it’s the perfect comfort food: runny eggs, spicy chicken, tender hash, and a zesty and creamy chile hollandaise, a foodie’s dream come true!
Stratta at the Wynn Hotel
The perfect after-show dining spot, Stratta at the Wynn Hotel is a casual but delicious dining and lounge experience. With an Italian/American fusion of menu items, the pizzas are one of the items we can’t eat enough of! The Truffle and Wild Mushroom pizza is still one of the best we’ve had and if you’re starving after watching Cirque du Soleil, grab a Braised Short Rib Panino, a decadent sandwich that’s perfect for sharing with a friend. End the day with their warm doughnuts dipped in Nutella, and call it a night!
Bakeries, Chocolates & More
Of course, we can’t forget about the sweet side of Las Vegas and all the bakeries, chocolate shops, and patisseries that are available! Did you know the World’s Largest Chocolate Fountain is located at the Bellagio Hotel? Continuously flowing milk, dark, and white chocolate, it’s heaven for chocolate lovers!
