All you need to achieve this look is an old dresser that needs a makeover, a sander and some fresh paint! Figure out what color you want to use, and paint each dresser drawer a different shade. You can do light to dark or dark to light — it’s up to you! This blogger, Nikki, used five shades of blue and outlined the piece in white, which really made the bright colors pop. It looks like a perfect addition to a child’s room or baby nursery.

Two trends in one: mint and ombre! Paint the wall with a base of your lightest shade. Then use painter’s tape to divide the wall into equal sections for as many colors as you want to use. Paint each section the appropriate color and then blend. Erica’s bright, sea-inspired wall is a must-have for anyone who wants to brighten up a room or create a focal wall.
DIY paint chip projects are so fun, easy and inexpensive! The paint chips are free at your local paint store, and take plenty, because you’ll need them. Heather took a vintage $5 flea market frame and filled it with triangle-cut paint chips. She added fun, funky colors and did the ombre with dark on the bottom to light on the top. The only other supplies you need are poster board and a glue stick!
