While spring weather means a chance to get outdoors and start playing in the garden, it also means it’s time to take care of pesky gardening chores.

While I love planting fragrant flowers and tending to fresh veggies, I hate the less glamourous aspects of gardening like weeding and other yard work chores. Needing some extra motivation to tackle the jungle of weeds that popped up overnight in my gardening bed, I stumbled on these little gems while picking up crafting supplies at Jo-Ann fabrics and crafts.

These lovely floral gardening accessories are just what a gal needs to get motivated to tackle spring chores. Check out these must-have picks:

Gardening gloves

A girl can love playing in the dirt, but not hand getting her hands dirty. Gardening gloves are a must for keeping your mani looking fresh. Short gloves are great for everyday tasks, while long ones are perfect for more heavy-duty chores.

Apron

Rocking an apron when gardening may feel a little Bree Van de Kamp a la a Desperate Housewives, but truth be told, the little pockets can come in pretty handy. They’re the perfect size for holding seed packets and a gardening spade during planting time.

Spade

Other than the gadget that yanks out weeds, a spade is one of the most-used gardening tools. Might as well get one that you love to look at. It’ll also look great on a potting bench as an accessory on display.

Gardening tote

Save yourself extra trips to the garage or toolshed by stashing your small gardening tools in a tote to take with you around the yard.

Watering can

How adorable is this watering can? A cute play on the Cath Kidson floral trend, this actually makes watering plants seem like fun.

Welcome mat

Ok, so this technically isn’t gardening gear, but it’s just too adorable not to include. Use it to wipe off your muddy gardening Wellies so dirt doesn’t get tracked into the house. Plus, after all the hard work you put into making your garden look stellar, don’t you want welcome guests with something equally cute?

Sometimes a girl just needs gardening gear for no other reason other than it’s super cute. Happy gardening!
