Did you catch Tuesday night’s episode of Design Staron HGTV? Designer Kris Swift created this crazy cool DIY succulent planter which we fell head-over-heels for. Swift created the succulent planter from a wood stump using a drill, skill saw, and hammer and chisel to scoop out the wood holes for the succulents.

Get Kris Swift’s tips for making your own DIY succulent planter.

If DIY isn’t your thing, here are a few other options for succulent planters you can buy.

Natural looking

If you’re looking to stick with a natural theme in your garden decor, then this succulent stone planter is the ticket. The natural-looking faux stone planter has a unique texture and color that would look great in a garden surrounded by rocks.

Go vertical

One of the newest outdoor trends is to embrace vertical gardening. This living wall framed succulent planter is a great way to bring in green plants to a tiny patio space.

Silk succulent plants for the non-gardening

If you’d rather have a succulent planter that you don’t have to care for, consider getting a realistic succulent silk plant.  The metal tin planter is a nice contrast to the light green succulent shade.

Succulents are super easy to maintain. Simple spray with water a few times a month once the soil gets completely dry and avoid over watering.
