When I set out to taste my way through the fabulous city of Dallas I left no rock unturned. Within three days, I hit up over 25 restaurants and below you’ll find the most complete foodie guide to Dallas that ever existed! I threw in some other non-food related items as well… because you’ve got to keep busy between meals. Am I right?
I’ve separated it into things to do, things to eat, things to drink and where to caffeinate! Here we go…
Rodeo Goat
If you’re looking for somewhere to chill on the patio, load up on cheese fries and burgers… look no further! Rodeo Goat is the perfect place to do just that. 1926 Market Center Blvd Dallas, Texas, 75207 (214) 741-4628 www.rodeogoat.com
Bolsa Mercado
If I were to live in Dallas I would literally try to live inside Bolsa Wine Bar. I’ll just lease one of their patio tables by the month and live off their Texas cheese plates (Yes — that means everything on the cheese plate comes from Texas and everything is gorgeous). After you get some nibbles and drinks at the wine bar, hop two doors down to the Mercado and grab sandwiches for lunch the next day! 634 W Davis St. Dallas, Texas, 75208 (214) 942-0451 www.bolsadallas.com/bolsa-mercado
Mercat Bistro
This is a super-cute bistro right in downtown Dallas and it’s a perfect location for a leisurely breakfast! Grab a few pastries and their coffee because it’s one of the best lattes I’ve ever consumed. Their omelet is pretty epic too. 2501 N. Harwood St Dallas, Texas 75201 (214) 953-0917 www.mercatbistro.com
Mudsmith
Another gem in lower Greenville, Mudsmith is home to some freshly brewed Kombucha! Bingo! It’s the perfect place to relax after a long day of eating and shopping. They also have coffee if that’s more your speed — but I’m a sucker for Kombucha and my addiction isn’t going anywhere! 2114 Greenville Ave Dallas, Texas, 75206 (214) 370-953 www.mudsmithcoffee.com
El Come Taco
I make it a point to find the best tacos in each city I visit and El Come Tacos wins for Dallas. They are traditional, simple and loaded with flavor. It’s located in the middle of a little strip mall so don’t let that stop you from popping in for tacos — they will not disappoint! 2513 N Fitzhugh Ave Dallas, Texas, 75204 (214) 821-3738
Braindead Brewing
My husband has trained me to seek out the best beer in every city we visit so Braindead Brewing was a must. It’s a super-fun little brewery that has dozens of beers on tap plus serves a mean burger! 2625 Main St Dallas, Texas, 75226 (214) 749-0600 www.braindeadbrewing.com

Go, buy everything, try everything and then thank me later. 408 W Eighth St Dallas, Texas, 75208 (214) 943-5943 www.dudesweetchocolate.com

Just a hop skip and a jump from downtown, Kylde Warren Park is the perfect place to hang out on a sunny afternoon. Pecan Lodge
Whoa. I mean, hands down without a doubt the most epic BBQ food I’ve ever had ever. Words can’t even begin to describe the incredible food that’s pouring out of this joint. Sounds weird, but promise me you’ll order the Hot Mess. It’s a game changer. Also make sure to grab a table outside — their patio is BBQ chic. 2702 Main St Dallas, Texas, 75226 (214) 748-8900 www.pecanlodge.com
Monkey Bar at Mi Cocina
Apparently I need to move to Dallas — because the margarita sangria swirl situation that occurs on the top level of Mi Cocina aka the Monkey Bar is a thing of beauty! It’s the perfect spot for girls night out or a big gathering with friends! Also — promise me you’ll order the queso blanco. It’s insane! 77 Highland Park Village Dallas, Texas, 75205 (214) 521-6426 www.micocinarestaurants.com
