A spooky soap potion even Professor Snape would approve of (VIDEO)
It’s that time of year again when witches brew and werewolves roam. OK, not really, but who doesn’t love getting into the bewitching spirit of Halloween?
This is my favorite time of the year because it’s the kickoff for the holiday season. I also grew up wanting to become a witch, probably because I watched too many movies and Bewitched reruns with my mom. I spent a lot of time making potions out of perfumes and attempting to fly on a broom by jumping off the couch. So I never became a witch, but this how-to for our easy ghoulish monster eyeball soap is as close to potion making as I’ll get.
What you’ll need:
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 packet powdered gelatin
- 1/2 cup liquid soap
- Green food coloring
- Essential oils
- 1 teaspoon table salt
- Jar
- Creepy objects like eyeballs or spiders
It’s a simple project that makes for practical spooktacular soap.Check out the video above for step-by-step instructions for how to make it. Happy Halloween!
