Cast a spell on your lamp with our bat silhouette DIY (VIDEO)

Decorating the house for Halloween can be pricey, but with this easy bat printable all your friends will think you’re the Wicked Witch of the West with all kinds of tricks up your sleeve.

These bat silhouette decorations are a great festive touch for any lamp. They’ll make a good decoration for your first annual Halloween party — they’re even fun for all October long.

Items needed:

• Black construction paper
• Scissors
• Scotch tape

Instructions:

1. Print out multiple bat shapes.
2. Trace the bat shapes onto black construction paper.
3. Cut out the bat shapes.
4. Attach the bats to the inside of a lamp shade with two pieces of Scotch tape on the wings.
5. Optional: Add a ribbon around your lampshade.
