Let’s be honest, baskets are a great way to store things, but sometimes all the neutral colors get a little boring. Instead of spending more money for custom designs, just grab some paint for this cool craft.

Supplies:

• Basket
• Painter’s tape
• Trash bag
• Paint
• Paintbrush

Instructions:

1. Cover the basket opening with a trash bag and painter’s tape.
2. Paint the uncovered section.
3. Let dry.
4. Tape off the area that you would like to stay the first color.
5. Paint additional stripes.
6. Let dry.
7. Tape off sections to create broken lines and paint to create a pattern.
