The perfect solution to fake a longer ponytail (VIDEO)

Ponytail envy scrolling through Pinterest? Been there, felt that. Pulling our hair into a pony should be rather simple but it’s a cold, hard #truth that it takes a lot of work to make it look so effortlessly perfect. You know, when it curls perfectly in the right direction at the right place and doesn’t hang down like a straightened horse’s tail.

I’m still convinced any perfect pony is thanks all in part to Photoshop. That’s why we made messy buns trendy instead, because everyone was sick of trying and failing to get the perfect ponytail.

But SheKnows Beauty Expert Allison Pynn has a trick up her sleeve that is giving me a total “duh” moment. Essentially, you create two ponytails and the result is a sort of beauty optical illusion.
